Real talk, good vibes, and hot tea. Pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup, and join us for conversations that make you think; not tell you what to think. There’s no agenda and no lecture here. We ask the questions, bring together people with real stories and real perspectives, and leave room for you to make up your own mind.
Our guests are people from our own communities. They’re neighbors, leaders, and change makers in faith, culture, business, and beyond who have something meaningful to share. We talk about the things that matter, from politics and culture to faith and business, the same way you’d talk with your smartest friends over coffee: openly, honestly, and with a little good humor along the way.
So grab your coffee, tea, or whatever’s in your cup, and meet us here every Wednesday from 9 to 10 AM or on Wednesday evening from 5 to 6 PM CT. Same times, every week. Come listen, come think, and come be part of the conversation.
Hot off the mic this week.
Pull up a chair and press play, no agenda, just the conversation.

About DJ Toast
CO-HOST · COMMUNITY RADIO VET
With over four decades behind the turntables, from military clubs to commercial radio, DJ Toast continues bringing his signature music, personality, and vibrant energy to audiences across modern digital airwaves.
DJ Toast has been bringing music, energy, and personality to audiences for more than four decades.
His DJ journey began in 1983 in Fairbanks, Alaska, where he started spinning records at the Air Force NCO Club while serving in the United States Air Force. From the beginning, music became more than a hobby; it became a passion and a way to connect with people.
After relocating to Goldsboro, North Carolina, DJ Toast continued building his reputation behind the turntables, DJing at the NCO Club, as well as Gemini West and Dazzels. During this period, he also worked with KISS 102 and radio personality BK Kirkland, gaining valuable experience in the commercial radio and club scene.
His journey eventually took him to San Antonio, Texas, where he became part of the legendary music scene at the world-famous Fort Sam NCO Club. There, he worked alongside Mitchell T. King and Timeless Productions, while also sharing the stage and working with notable entertainers and musicians, including Mel Waiters and the Waiters Band and Terri Richards of KSJ 96.1. He was selected to DJ for Magic Johnson during the 1996 All-Star Game in San Antonio.
DJ Toast’s passion for radio eventually expanded beyond the club scene. He hosted a mix show on KSYM 90.1 FM alongside Carl Dukes in San Antonio, further establishing himself as a radio DJ and music personality.
Today, DJ Toast continues to keep the tradition of DJing and radio alive. He currently hosts mix shows on KMEJ Internet Radio and WERG 90.5 FM in Erie, Pennsylvania, bringing his experience, personality, and love of music to a new generation of listeners.
From Fairbanks to Goldsboro, from San Antonio to today’s digital airwaves, DJ Toast has spent more than 40 years behind the turntables and behind the microphone.
His philosophy is simple:
Good music. Good conversation. Good vibes.
And after more than four decades, DJ Toast is still making the music move.
